Joho ATTACKED barely a day after announcing that he will ATTEND the SGR launch

Mombasa County Governor Ali Hassan Joho has been slammed by Government spokesman Eric Kiraithe barely a day after revealing that he will attend the launch of Standard Gauge Railway (SGR) which will be officiated by President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto.

Kiraithe condemned Joho’s move to announce his attendance at the much-anticipated event through the media yet he was conversant with the government protocol.

Kiraithe ‘attacked’ Joho while speaking at a press briefing attended by a NAIROBI GOSSIP reportes on Tuesday, May 31 2017.

‘’I am not sure whether Mr Joho has been put in the program, but the only advice that I want to give to Governor Joho is that he should not go to the media and tell them that you want to be part of the program.’’Kiraithe said.

‘’I hope he has the capacity to understand how these programs are organized including his own office. The Presidency is an office owned by Kenyans and it is usually managed according to national and international norms.’Kiraithe added.

On Monday, May 29 2017 Governor Joho publicly vowed to attend the historic launch of the SGR on Wednesday, May 31 2017, stating that he is the host Governor.

This ,the dapper Mombasa Governor said after accompanying Siaya Senator James Orengo to present his papers to the IEBC in Siaya County.

Joho and Uhuru have not been best of friends especially after their melodrama during the re-launch of Mtongwe Ferry Services where the latter openly insulted the former in a battle for supremacy.
